Kids love a good Easter egg hunt, but collecting your eggs in a normal basket is not as fun as this crafty Easter bunny basket!

If you are feeling extra creative this year with your Easter egg hunt, you can use those old wipes containers to create these adorable baskets. Get the kids involved too, and make sure you have anti bacterial hand wipes on hand to clean the sticky glue off their fingers before you have it all over your wall.

All you need for this DIY exercise is:

  - Empty wipes box container
  - Glue or double-sided tape
  - Craft card or colored paper
  - Stick-on decorative eyes
  - Cotton Wool

Firstly, what you need to do is measure each side of your box and cut pieces of card/paper to the correct size. Used double sided sticky tape or glue to stick each piece to its designated side.

Once you’ve covered your box, you’ll need to make some ears. Cut out 2 pieces of paper in one color, then two smaller pieces in a different color. Stick the smaller pieces to the larger ones, and attach to the inside of the front of your box.

Now, your bunny needs a face. Use the stick-on eyes, and cut thin strips of ribbon/paper to make whiskers. Lastly, use two cotton wool balls as the cheeks of your rabbit.

You now have a bunny rabbit box, if you want to turn it into a basket use a thick piece of card and stick it on either side to make a handle.

Don’t forget to share picture of your bunny basket with us. Enjoy your Easter egg hunt!
