It may only be 25th November but today is ‘Shopping Reminder Day’, which means (if you haven’t already) you should probably start the Christmas shopping! Whether you love it or hate it, it has to be done and everyone has his or her own way of shopping. Whether you’re sitting in the comfort of your own home in your comfy loungewear with a hot beverage doing your shopping online, or scrambling between the aisles of department stores with your full trolley – we all have our own way of handling this hectic shopping season.
The question is always ‘where do I start?’ – well we would suggest writing out a list. Plan out all the people you need to buy for, and write down an idea of what you would like to buy for them, before heading out the door to go shopping. At least this way you’re not wandering round the store aimlessly, and you have a list as a point of reference and to keep track of your gift buying as well as your money.
For some, shopping during Christmas season is nothing, but for others it is a dreaded time of year. However, there is one thing no one can deny - shopping can be very germy. People touching everything, crowds of sick people and being indoors keep all the germs in the air. It’s just all round unhygienic, which means you should probably take some precautions when going out shopping!
Always make sure you carry tissues, antibacterial wipes or hand gel with you. We can almost certainly guarantee that they will come in handy. Whenever you use public restrooms, hold on to railings or even open doors, it is a good idea to use antibacterial gel or hand wipes afterwards. It can also get a bit hot and sweaty in the crowds, use refreshing wipes for a quick refresh before back
More importantly, avoid going out if you are feeling under the weather. This is not only for your own health, but for other people too, and you know you don’t want to be sick on Christmas day. Get your computer or tablet out and do some online shopping at the comfort of your own bed, just make sure the delivery date is in time for Christmas!
Get shopping before it’s too late this Christmas!
